Dr. Saskia Buchholz is a researcher in the field of urban and regional climate at the German Meteorological Service in Offenbach, Germany. Since 2011 she is working mainly in the field of urban climate modelling and adaptation strategies against the impacts of climate change in cities. Her other research interests are urban planning, remote sensing and air quality in cities. Saskia Buchholz holds a PhD degree in environmental meteorology from the University Trier.
