About Maria Sitzoglou

Maria Sitzoglou is the Co-founder of Design Clips. Her expertise involves resilient urban design, stakeholder engagement, and participatory planning. She holds a master’s degree in Urban Design from UC Berkeley and another master’s degree in Architecture. She has extensive experience in city-scale urban resilience projects with a portfolio ranging from policy design to hands-on community projects. She has been working for organisations such as the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Urban Innovative Actions (UIA), The World Bank, Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy as well as 100 Resilient Cities pioneered by the Rockefeller Foundation.
