About Andrea Maggiolo and Michael Alexander Ulfstjerne

Andrea is an Italian architect who works as a construction manager and as a workshop coordinator at Emergency Architecture and Human Rights (EAHR), a Danish organisation aiming to strengthen the resilience of vulnerable groups suffering from inequality. He has followed and co-created the majority of EAHR’s projects in the world. Besides his hands-on capability and site-specific expertise, he now cooperates, develops, and works alongside partners, universities, and communities. Michael is an assistant professor in Global Refugee Studies at Aalborg University in Denmark as well as the acting CEO of EAHR. His key areas of expertise include displacement, participatory design, architecture, and urbanism.
