About Zukiswa Kota

Zukiswa Kota is based at Rhodes University in South Africa. Currently working as a Country Manager at the Public Service Accountability Monitor (PSAM), she is a founding Coordinator of Imali Yethu, a South African civil society coalition advocating for fiscal transparency, open government and meaningful public participation. Zukiswa has more than 12 years’ experience supporting social and budget justice initiatives through research and advocacy. An environmental science graduate, she is passionate about promoting environmental justice and inclusive, accountable governance in Africa.
