About Dr. Teresa Kerber

Teresa Kerber is currently Head of the Advisory Program “International Smart Cities Network” (ISCN) and the Global Program “ICT-based Adaptation to Climate Change in Cities” at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. Prior to that, she was in the Division Methodological Approaches at GIZ’s Sectoral Department. Her areas of specialization include ICT for development, Urban Development, Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation, Governance, Local Economic Development, Value Chains, and Energy. She is working at GIZ’s headquarters after supporting international development projects in Asia and Latin America as well as working for the private sector and academic institutions in Germany.
