About Tatu Mtwangi Limbumba

Dr Tatu Mtwangi Limbumba is a senior research fellow at the Institute for Human Settlements Studies. Drawing on more than 25 years of experience in research, she focuses mainly on gender, housing, urban informality, climate change, and innovative basic service provision. Limbumba has published several works on urban issues and is interested in alternative understandings that capture the realities of cities in the Global South.
