About Simon Dixon

Simon Dixon is the Co-Founder of Kwangu Kwako Limited, a social enterprise which is delivering safer, more secure, healthier precast concrete homes to families in the informal settlements of Nairobi, Kenya. His varied previous experience comprises 20 years in UK construction/property, working initially for consultants and latterly for client organisations. More recently he volunteered for 2 years in Rural Kenya as a Business Advisor. Having seen first-hand the devastating effects of fire in the informal settlements, he decided to develop a safer, affordable solution to bring improved housing to those most in need. Kwangu Kwako are now delivering that solution.
