About Shyam Khandekar

Shyam is an urban designer, city planner and architect with four decades of design experience in Europe and India. He has lectured and published extensively on different aspects of Liveable Cities at universities and conferences across the world. My Liveable City has published three books under his guidance, Affordable Housing, Inclusive Cities published in 2019, Designing For Sustainability Through Upcycling, published in 2020 and our forthcoming book titled Streets For All: 50 Ideas for Shaping Resilient Cities.
