Natalya Tarnavchyk has been working for GIZ Ukraine since May 2014. She has also worked for the project “Municipal Development and Rehabilitation of the Old City of Lviv”, coordinating the communication and PR activities and co-organizing events such as the European Heritage Days and the Urban Workshop in Lviv. Since January 2018 she has been supporting the communication and PR activities of the GIZ's projects on good governance in Kyjiv, Ukraine.

On its way towards becoming more sustainable, the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv is making plans to improve its cycling infrastructure. Natalya Tarnavchyk of GIZ Ukraine has talked to Kseniya Semenova of the Kyiv Cyclists' Association about the city's new cycling concept.
