About Mohammad Tarikul Islam

Dr Mohammad Tarikul Islam is an Associate Professor of Government and Politics at Jahangirnagar University in Bangladesh. He was the Visiting Research Fellow in the Department of International Development at the University of Oxford in 2018. Prior to joining University in 2014, he was serving UNDP for a period of seven years in different capacities. Dr Islam is the regular contributor to the South Asia Blog of London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), UK, and the Institute of South Asian Studies, National University of Singapore (NUS). He has recently been offered to take up post-doc fellowship (visiting scholar) by end of 2020 at the University of Cambridge.
