Maria Laura Avila is a social communicator. She has developed her work in the private and public sector as Director of Communication at the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion, the Secretary of Policy, the Coordinating Ministry of Internal and External Security; as well as an advisor to the Ministry of Education and consultant to international cooperation agencies. Her area of expertise is linked to the planning of national communication strategies and development of public policies. Fields of work include human rights communication and attention to population living in conditions of poverty and vulnerability.
