About Jimena de Gortari Ludlow

Jimena de Gortari Ludlow is a full-time professor and the Research Coordinator at Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City. She is the author of the book “Sound guide for a City” and and investigates urban acoustics. She also writes regularly on topics such as soundscape, noise pollution, urban health and public space. She is a government and citizen advisor to the Environmental and Territorial Planning Office of Mexico City. Jimena is a nember of the National System of Researchers, LEVEL I and is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities of UAM-Cuajimalpa. Jimena holds a PhD from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (2010), with a specialty in museography (2005).
