About Hoang Phuong Thao

As the Representative of ActionAid International in Vietnam, Thao is in charge of leading an anti-poverty programme reaching more than 300,000 direct beneficiaries on ground. ActionAid Vietnam actively promotes the SDGs and campaigns for civil society organizations to have a more meaningful role in the implementation and monitoring of the government’s promises on SDG delivery. In 2018, Thao delivered Vietnam’s civil society response to the Voluntary National Review report of Vietnam at the UN High Level Political Forum in New York.
