About Daniel Kerber

Daniel Kerber is the founder of More than Shelters. For 18 years, he has been working on the interconnections of planning, architecture, and design with people living in slums and refugee camps. Before embarking on the path of humanitarian innovation, Daniel Kerber worked as an artist and designer, and taught Social Design at the Hamburg School of Fine Arts (HBFK).

Daniel Kerber is the founder and CEO of More than Shelters, a social business that brings a creative and innovative approach to the humanitarian context. Since it was founded in 2012, More than Shelters has been active in various places: parts of Jordan that border on neighbouring Syria, transit routes, and places where migrants and refugees arrive, such as Greece and Berlin, Germany.
