About Ana Terra Amorim-Maia

As a doctoral researcher, Ana Terra Amorim-Maia explores intersectional approaches to urban climate adaptation planning and action, so that resilience projects can be not only environmentally effective but also socially transformative. Ana holds a MSc in Environmental Studies - Cities and Sustainability from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg and an Environmental Engineering degree from the University of São Paulo. She is currently a PhD Candidate at the BCNUEJ from the Institut de Ciència i Tecnologia Ambientals (ICTA) at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB).
