About Verena Goranko
Verena Goranko advises the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) on the topic of sustainable development of metropolitan regions. Her focus is on urban and metropolitan governance in the field of development cooperation. Within her work she deals with key questions of institutional arrangements, inter-municipal cooperation and managing rural-urban linkages in order to create inclusive, livable and sustainable urban areas. Verena holds a Masters’ degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Malmö University, Sweden.
