About Stephanie Butcher

Stephanie Butcher is a Research Fellow on the “Knowledge in Action for Urban Equality” programme, at the Connected Cities Lab, University of Melbourne. Her areas of research focus include participation and collective action, gender and diversity, and urban inequalities. She has partnered in teaching and research with organizations in cities in Nepal, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, and the UK to support community-driven processes of planning.
