About Richard Grant

Richard Grant is a Professor at the University of Miami, Florida, USA. He is the Director of International Studies as well as Urban Studies. He is a senior Research Associate, School of Tourism and Hospitality, University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He is a graduate of University College Dublin, Ireland, the University of Illinois, and University of Colorado at Boulder, USA. He was a PEW Faculty Fellow in International Affairs at Harvard University and is the 2020 Association of American Geographers’ Kwado Konadu-Agyemang Distinguished Scholar in African Geography.
