About Mieke Lopes Cardozo

Mieke Lopes Cardozo is an assistant professor at the University of Amsterdam in International Development Studies. Her research and academic teaching is focused on the role of education in relation to social justice and peacebuilding. She co-directed the Research Consortium on Education and Peacebuilding (2014-2016), is a member of the Advisory Committee of Experts for a UN mandated study on Resolution 2250 on Youth, Peace and Security, and co-chair of Conflict, Education and Emergencies SIG.
