About Marcus Mayr

Marcus is working as Programme Officer at UN-Habitat. Being passionate about cities, Marcus has been working since 2006 as an urban development practitioner in local, national and multilateral institutions, with a focus on Sustainable Urban Development. His goal is improving urban planning and investments for city development and infrastructure, and all the jazz that comes with it. In the past, he had the chance to design, negotiate and implement some concrete urban development projects – big and small – that helped improve cities and lives in a few countries around the globe.
