About Jorgelina Hardoy

Jorgelina Hardoy is coordinator and senior researcher at IIED – América Latina, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Trained as a geographer (University of Buenos Aires and Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey), her work focuses in the Latin America region, developing multi-stakeholder processes to address urban environmental problems associated with poor living conditions and climate risks, aiming to improve climate resilience and climate action capacities. She mostly works with local communities and local governments contributing to develop more integrated and transformative urban agendas.
