About Joost Monks

Joost Monks is Executive Director of NORRAG and in charge of the organisation's overall management, development and partnerships. He also serves as secretary of the International Accreditation Council for Development Studies (IAC) of the European Association of Development Institutes (EADI). Previously he served as project director for the Rector of the University of Geneva and worked as strategy consultant in a wide range of national and international public and non-profit organizations. He holds a Bachelor and a Master Degree in international relations from the Graduate Institute and obtained his PhD in political economics from the University of Geneva.
