About Jessy Appavoo

With over 10 years of experience on development and climate finance, Jessy currently serves as the Head of C40 Cities UrbanShift. She has worked on several multi-million dollar projects ranging from climate finance to improving energy access in rural parts of Sub-Saharan Africa. She previously served as the Regional Engagement Manager for the C40 Cities Finance Facility (CFF), which is a project preparation facility. Jessy has completed post-graduate studies at Yale's Centre for Business and Environment, and holds a Masters degree from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
