About Eric Denis

Eric Denis Eric DENIS, director of research at Géographie-cités lab, holds a PhD in urban and economic geography from the University of Caen, France, and a Habilitation from Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne University. Posted in Cairo from 1993 to 2003, he afterwards worked in India. His studies concern socio-spatial inequalities and the evolution of systems of cities with a particular focus on land transformations, small towns and international comparisons.
