About Danang Azhari

Danang Azhari also better known as Dana, is a researcher and deputy program manager of Resilience Development Initiative (RDI), a think-tank institute based in Bandung, Indonesia. He holds a bachelor’s degree in urban and regional planning. Dana dedicates his research projects to the topics of Disaster and Climate Resilience (DCR) and Regional and Urban Policy (RUP). Currently, he is doing some research projects on Disaster Management, Disaster Displacement, Sustainable Business, COVID-19 Policy and Governance, Public Acceptance, and Climate Change Adaptation, including Nature-based Solutions (NbS). He has a huge interest in sustainable and resilient development with exposure to climate and disaster risk, risk governance, environmental justice, and urban social sustainability, including gender equality and inclusivity.
