About Christianna J. Brotsis

Christianna J. Brotsis joined the World Bank in 1997 to work on policy development in urban upgrading and solid waste management. In 2002, she worked with UNDP on an EU-sponsored program for the Rehabilitation of the Walled City in Nicosia. Upon her return to the World Bank, she coordinated the Bank’s work on cultural heritage and introduced the sustainable tourism agenda before moving into the Middle East and North Africa region in 2009 to work on operations in West Bank and Gaza, Lebanon, Jordan and the Gulf Countries.
