About Bijal Brahmbhatt

Bijal Brahmbhatt is the director of the Mahila Housing Trust and was selected as a Women Changemakers India Fellow by Womanity Foundation. In 2015, the Rockefeller Foundation selected her for the Global Fellowship Programme on Social Innovation among 21 leaders from the social and ecological sectors working to transform the systems. In 2013, Bijal was felicitated by WomenChangeMakers of Switzerland for fostering women’s empowerment in the habitat sector.
