Alejandro Muñoz Rivera is a biologist with a master’s degree in community ecology, with over nineteen years of commitment to the development of projects aimed at the conservation and sustainable management of natural resources. Extensive experience in the planning, execution, organization and dissemination of projects implemented through NGOs, especially those involving processes that promote community involvement, as well as research projects carried out through academia and environmental initiatives proposed by the civil society and local governments. He gained experience in educational activities as a university professor and via organizations dedicated to environmental education. He currently is advisor to the Mayor on environmental issues in the #SweetCity of Curridabat.
