About Yasmina Yusuf

At SLURC, Yasmina works on research related to transportation in Freetown and supports the development of a MEL system for the organisation. She recently completed an MSc at the Bartlett Development Planning Unit focused on social and urban development. Here, her research was centered on the ‘informal’ urban space economy in the context of Transit Oriented Development. Prior to this, she worked in the Office of the Chief Economist at Oxford Policy Management, where she managed multi-million research programmes on inclusive economic growth. She is particularly interested in strengthening links between policy and research and is a member of Architectures sans Frontieres UK and Oxford Urbanists.
