About Werner Wintersteiner

Werner Wintersteiner, Ph.D., is a retired Professor of German Didactics. He was the founder of the “Centre for Peace Research and Peace Education” at Klagenfurt University, Austria. His main research fields are peace education, culture and peace, as well as literature and peace and literature education. He is a staff member of the University Program “Global Citizenship Education”.
