About Mamokete Matjomane

Mamokete Matjomane is a junior researcher at the Gauteng City-Region Observatory and a PhD candidate in the School of Architecture and Planning, University of the Witwatersrand. She holds an MSc in Town and Regional Planning (Urban Studies). Her research interests include street trading governance in cities of the South, participatory governance, township economies and spatial transformation.
