About Karol Yáñez Soria

Karol is an ex-DPU UCL PhD who does research on urban development in the topics of environmental justice, sustainability and coproduction of knowledge. She is Director of the Centre for the study of Metropolitan Zones and currently full-time researcher for the National Council for Science and Technology, Mexico. She is also a consultant for international organisations such as ONU-Habitat, UNDP and GIZ. Karol is an advocate for gender-development issues, currently studying a diplomat in feminism and narrative practices.
