About Jose Puppim de Oliveira

José A. Puppim de Oliveira holds a PhD in Planning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and is a faculty member at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) in Brazil. His research and policy interests concentrate on how global environmental change and local institutions are interlinked to steer local governance and action. He has been an instructor, consultant, and researcher for several organisations, such as different United Nations agencies, the OECD, the World Bank, as well as sub-national and national governments.
