About Anya Plescia Boyd

Anya has 14 years’ experience in the field of renewable energy, climate change and international development, working across Africa, South East Asia, Latin America and Europe. She combines her technical engineering background with her experience in academia and the NGO sector to identify opportunities for climate action and clean energy solutions. Now as an independent consultant, she has focused on low carbon and climate resilient development, energy & gender, and, more recently, urban climate action in the context of the UNFCCC process. Anya holds a MEng in Structural Engineering (University of Edinburgh) and an MSc in Energy and Development Studies (University of Cape Town).
