World Urban Forum – German events

From 7 to 13 February 2018, urban actors will meet at the 9th session of the World Urban Forum in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – the first global urban conference after Habitat III in 2016. The Forum provides a central platform for cities, national governments, non-governmental organisations, planners and architects as well as international organisations to discuss pressing urban issues and developments. It presents an opportunity to track progress and advance the implementation of global agendas, such as the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development and the New Urban Agenda.

In several events in the main conference programme and at the German Pavilion German Development Cooperation will be sharing insights and discuss current topics of sustainable urban development.

Get a glimpse at selected activities below. In the full programme of the German Pavilion you will find the full descriptions and all of the German events.
