Dana de la Fontaine works with the Good Financial Governance Program at GIZ Mozambique. Her focus lies on decentralization and local government development. In the context of the cooperation between GIZ and Cities Alliance, her main objective is to support the national dialogue between national and local governments as well as actors of civil society, aiming at the development of a national urban agenda. De la Fontaine is a political scientist and holds a PhD in International Relations.

The Second Urban Festival that took place in Maputo, Mozambique, earlier this month offered various urban actors, stakeholders and inhabitants a multifaceted platform to come together, exchange ideas and jointly reflect upon their city’s development.
