About María Alejandra Vicuña Muñoz

María Alejandra Vicuña Muñoz, psychologist and politician from Ecuador, is currently Minister of Urban Development and Housing and Vice-President of the country. With more than a decade of experience, she has held various public positions, among them Assemblywoman of the province of Guayas and vice-president of the Permanent Specialized Commission on the Right to Health. Moreover, she formed part of the Parliamentary Group for Women’s Rights and was in charge of the Parliamentary Group for Guaranteeing the Rights of Children and Adolescents.
