Babette Never is the leader of the research group “Transforming carbon consumption patterns of the new middle classes” at the German Development Institute in Bonn, Germany. She has a research background in energy efficiency policy, behavioral economics and green industrial policy. She holds a PhD in political science from the university of Hamburg and works from an interdisicplinary perspective on sustainable production and consumption.
